Keep in mind, when I say Insurance paid remainder, this is what they paid along with what they required the provider to write off. I am using in network physicians, and I have coverage for office visits, bloodwork, ultrasounds and meds, so the difference between what the insurance allows and what is paid becomes a provider write off. That doesn't go for the IVF with ICSI itself as that is a non covered benefit - so I have to pay the total charged amount. I will update as claims process with my insurance and I know how much is billed and what my liability is.
